Hi, I'm Jayant Kumar
Jayant Kumar is a Software Engineer by profession. He has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Executive management program from IIM-C (Indian Institute of Management Calcutta). He has an immense interest in Astrology and wants to see pious Astrology more as a scientific and spiritual way that can be used for the betterment of our lives. He has been practicing different branches of Astrology like Horoscope, palmistry, Prashna sashtra, and Numerology for the last fifteen years. His fifteen years of research in astrology have encouraged him to start the AstroBasic website to share his Astrology experiences with the world. He is a certified Pranic healer and believes in the Vedantic philosophy of spirituality. He enjoys playing Tabla (Indian Classical musical instrument) and passionate about history, mythology and philosophy, finding beauty and meaning in all religions.

Welcome to Astrobasic. My name is Jayant Kumar and I am not a quintessential yet another Baba adopting pious JYOTISH Shastra as mere means of earning a livelihood. No. I am an inquisitive passionate human being who believes in the positive science of Vedic Astrology by seeking merit and logic in this ancient cosmic subject.
It uses every existing scientific jargon to explain the circle of life each person will go through by step by step calculations. It never belittles our hard work- it only helps us in channeling our energies to achieve our lives purpose & strengthen our present actions so that we are prepared for what's to come.

As I have come to know about Jayant has released a video on Astro Basic has delighted me. Till before the release of video Jayant was helping us and some few friends/relatives/acquaintances like me. But now many people would get the benefit from his knowledge and people having an interest in Astrology could scale up themselves because now Jayant is letting know the people the true Astrology concept.
I came to know about Jayant through one of our common friends Mukesh Rishi and decided to meet him. I met Jayant in 2001 and saw he was an Intermediate student. I went there as I wanted to know some small incidents. He asked please ask your question and after that, I was astonished to hear every word. He was speaking the facts like watching live on television.
That time I was struggling for higher education MBA and I didn’t have the money. In my family, I was the eldest male member and none was earning that time. My mother somehow managing with the help of maternal uncle and Mami. It was a very tough time for me to continue my study and I was wondering to start some small jobs. I asked the question to Jayant what should I do, would I be able to join an MBA and would be complete the course.
That time he said it will happen no matter what may trouble come in? He suggested I be firm on decision and God helps everybody have faith in him.
After some time my younger brother( Anand Shankar Sahay) who recently got Job in IAF and asked me to go ahead I have managed some money for you. That was the Kick off for me. I got an educational loan from Canara Bank Bhagalpur and finally completed the course and as always guided by him before the final day of the semester I got Job offer also from a reputed house.
I remember one incident while pursuing my MBA, Jayant also came to Bangalore for joining his engineering classes. He visited one day our Hostel where my college colleagues also came to know about him and they started asking appointment.
When he started speaking about him they were simply stunned and once he departed they started saying “Yaar Kya banda hai, ye to question puchne par aisa bolta hai ki jaise iske same movie chal rahi ho aur ye hamein narrate kar raha ho”( After asking question he answers like he is watching movie and he is narrating us).

Once I made my Father in law to talk to Jayant. He wanted his advice regarding my sister-in-law's marriage and now the scene is this whenever I have to take some crucial decision he asks me whether you have consulted your friend before taking such a decision. If he comes to know that I have already talked to Jayant, he says the ok, Tab to thik koyee baat nahin hai, aap aisa kar sakte hain.
If I start writing about Jayant and it will be taking some 1000 pages and hours and hours to read and write. I simply say Jayant is great and is another name of Help and faith.
